When I broke a rule or law

I broke a rule when I was driving my cousins car and i didn't even have my permit or license. I almost drove into a ditch. After that i got scared and i ha vent drove ever since. I didn't get caught driving and i wasn't punished. I think that if I did get caught my fair consequences would have been to get my license and permit suspended.
